Senior Quantity Surveyor – MEP

We are currently hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor – MEP to oversee the commercial and contractual management of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across high-profile projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in MEP quantity surveying within large-scale construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for MEP systems.
  • Manage all aspects of cost control, valuation, and procurement for MEP trades.
  • Evaluate and administer subcontractor packages and supplier agreements.
  • Assess and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders.
  • Support the project team with regular financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure contractual compliance with industry standards.
  • Liaise with consultants, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders for project coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on MEP works in GCC countries, preferably in Qatar.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP materials, systems, codes, and construction methodologies.
  • Familiar with local and international contract forms.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and cost estimation software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
